Twilight DVD Release Party at Library

Arby's roastburger coupon back!

In case you didn't get to stop by and pick up one of these delicious sandwiches the last time I posted the coupon you have another chance. Just click here to get a coupon that is good through the 20th. My daughter and I printed a bunch before. There's no limit on how many times you can print it. The coupon says it's for a FREE roastburger but you will have to purchase a drink. When I went with my daughter we each got a drink and a small curly fries and it cost a little under $6. That's like getting everything off the dollar menu. And I loved that because Arby's doesn't have a dollar menu. Otherwise it's just $1.50 for your drink and burger.

Tomorrow from 1-3pm you can learn how to use the well known ancestry.com database. The Grand Rapids Public Library is offering a FREE adult class on this. In case your not familiar with the website...they are an online geneology database. They will be teaching you some basic techniques to help you in your search with the program. SanChez Bistro is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm not trying to stretch the dollar. And I found a unique event advertised in the Natural Awakenings magazine. Apparently SanChez is showing a film tonight called The World According to Monsanto. This film is all about toxins that are in our every day products like PCB's, growth hormones and more. The film is by Marie-Monique Robin.
Apparently they do this every Monday. Here's a flier that tells more about the program. I noticed that it says there's a charge. Some of them do and some of them don't. This one is a freebie.

Pet Food Bank Offered

The Humane Society of of Kent County has launched a new program called Kibble Konnection which is a food bank for pets. With so many people having to give up their pets because they can't cover the cost of food and such this program could be a pets life saver.

To benefit from this program you will need to fill out an application by March 20th.
You can also donate new or opened unused food and drop it off between noon and 7pm on Tuesdays through Fridays or 11am-4pm on Saturdays at the Humane Society (3077 Wilson Dr. NW).

The first distribution will be from 1-3pm on Saturday the 22nd of March at the Humane Society. For more information check out their site.

Pajama Storytime

The Walker Library is hosting an event called Pajama Storytime tomorrow night at 7pm. Many libraries have started this fun program. They ask that kids come in their pajamas and listen to some bedtime stories and have a little night time fun. This if for ages 6 and under. You should register your child before showing up. Check with the library nearest to you.
