Wake Wars at the B.O.B.
This is an amazing event that's totally FREE! You can get all the details here. There will be professional and amateur wakeboarders that will be competing the whole time. There will be sand volleyball, party pools and even skate ramps. It's happening on the 25th & 26th. Great time for the whole family.
Wheel Chair Tennis Tournament
Thanks to a local reader I have the opportunity to share this cool event. The 24th-26th will be the tournament time with the finals on Sunday. You can catch this event at Orchard Hills. It's a FREE event and open to the public. I would call to find out what the times are. Sorry, I didn't get that information.

Taste of Grand Rapids
This is a great event at the John Ball Zoo that's happening this weekend. There will be 25 local restaurants offering samples of their food for a fee but there will be live music for FREE. You can find out more about it here.
Movie at the Amphitheater
Celadon is a great little place that's right near Celebration North on East Beltline. It's on the corner of Leffingwell and Knapp. They are showing the movie Bella on the 24th at 9:30pm. The movie will be playing at their amphitheater and it's FREE!

Twilight at the Library
Flicks for chicks is happening again at the Wyoming KDL on the 24th at 11am. They'll be showing the movie Twilight. They must have shown a different show before. Sometimes if the people that show up would like to watch a different movie they'll switch it.
Weight loss Cooking Class
The Wellness Forum is having a class on cooking for weight loss on the 23rd at 7pm. It's a FREE class but you need to call them at 942-7907.
FREE Magic Show
The Kent District Library is having another great event at their Wyoming branch. It's Magic is the name of the event and it's a show for all ages on the 23rd at 6:30pm.
Pioneer Pride Day at Library
The East Grand Rapids KDL is showing their spirit by creating pennants and other crafts. They'll also have games and animals. This will be happening on the 23rd from 2-4pm and it's for all ages.

Dreams Workshop
Barnes and Noble on 28th st. has a workshop for adults. July 22nd will be the date for their dreams interpretation class. This is a FREE event and it's happening at 7pm.
Lawn Games
Two different libraries are offering lawn games on July 22nd. The Wyoming & Grandville KDL are the two locations. Wyoming is having theirs at 6pm and Grandville will hold theirs at 1pm. This is a no cost event that will have games like horseshoes, badminton, croquet and more. Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join in on the fun.
Movie at the Library
Don't forget the weekly movie at the Kentwood KDL. It happens at 3pm on July 22nd and it doesn't cost a thing.

Movie at the Wealthy Theatre
My husband loves this movie and I'm nervous to even tell him it's playing at the Wealthy Theatre. Ok, so the movie is The Muppet Movie and no I'm not joking. My husband loves it. It's showing at the Wealthy Theatre on July 21st at 8pm. The cost is $5.
