Local Concert For Donations
The Grand Rapids Press recently had an article about a local professor who is also in a band called The New Midwest. It was a fantastic article but it also had an advertisement for one of his upcoming shows. Chris Smit's band, The New Midwest, will be playing a benefit concert at the Ladies Literary Club on Jan. 23rd at 7:30pm. The doors will open at 7pm. Admission cost is nonperishable food items that will be donated to a local food pantry. There will be other guests there as well so it should be a great show. Free entertainment...donating to a good cause...sounds like a great time to me.
