Valentine's Day Ideas

Here are some ideas for Valentine's Day that range in cost. Let's start with the cheapest:



1. Give a heartfelt gift

2. Get breakfast together

-There have been many coupons for BOGO meals to IHOP in the Sunday papers

-Use this coupon to get 2 free cinnamon cherry crisp bagel with any purchase at Bagel Beanery

-Head to Van's Pastry Shoppe for a cheap delicious pastry breakfast (955 E. Fulton)

3. See the movie Valentine's Day at Star Theater - $4/person

-If you watch it either Saturday or Sunday morning at their first showing it only costs $4

-No coupon required

-Any movie at their first showing on Saturdays and Sundays is just $4



4. Play laser tag together - $5 total
-Use this coupon to head to Craig's Cruisers for a BOGO game
-While you're there spend a few bucks just playing in the arcade together

5. Use a restaurant.com certificate for a meal
-Check out my previous post on restaurant.com to see what kind of restaurants are available
-The previously mentioned coupon code is expired

6. Split an appetizer for free
-Sign up for restaurant e-mails and you'll get free stuff within a week

7. Shiver together over ice cream
-Become a fan of Dairy Queen on facebook and you'll get BOGO coupons


Here's a couple of more expensive ideas but still better deals than lots of other ideas.

1. Take a sleigh ride - $45/half hour
-Common Gentry Carriage is out in Ada
-Connie runs the place and is very friendly
-Sleigh is an authentic 1800's beauty
-They are about $15 cheaper than the average company
-They are out in the country and offer the best view

2. 3 Course meal at Ruby Tuesday - $50 total?
