Cheap threads for teen girls

Recently my husband and I have taken guardianship of a 15yr. old girl. As
Christmas is nearing we've been trying to scurry around and get her gifts. She loves clothes like most girls and like most teens loves her labels. Being the tightwad that I am I've been scouring the town looking for places to get the best deals. Other than hitting the clearance racks at her favorite stores I decided to try some of those new used clothing stores that only carry the trendy stuff. In case you haven't heard of them and you have to buy a gift for a teen girl, let me help you out.

One Girls Treasure is a new store that just opened downtown right behind the courthouse on Lyon. They have a bright pink sign that you can't miss. They carry everything from shoes, shirts, skirts and coats to jewelry, purses and jeans. From what I saw everything was under $20 for the most part. That's a steal! And you can find some of the really expensive name brands in there as well. The average t-shirt costs $3 and jeans just $12! Their hours are from 10-7, Monday thru Friday and 11-6 on Saturday. Their address is 5 Lyon St. in Grand Rapids. The phone number is 233-9940.

Plato's Closet is the other store I love. It's located just off 44th st. right by the highway. From 131 N you take a left on 44th st. and a right at the first light. Head into that little mall area on the right and it's just past World Market. They also carry the same kind of stuff at great low prices.

The great thing about these two places is that you can also sell your stuff there. To save yourself time I would call ahead and ask for the details of what they're looking for right now. What a great way to save money and possibly make some!
