I'm sure all of you can say that almost every year you get at least one gift that you'd like to give back. Maybe you stash yours in the basement waiting for the giver to come over and then you'll make sure it reappears to show how much you loved it. Well, for those of you looking for an alternative I suggest a re-gift party. It's simple really. It runs a lot like a white elephant party. Everyone brings a gift that they received that they would like to pass on. Make sure it's wrapped and place it under a tree. Everyone draws a number to see the order of who picks gifts. You can steal someone elses gift when it's your turn which will force them to either pick someone elses or get a new one from under the tree. Hopefully you can find a good new home for that gift you just didn't want.
I gathered together this past weekend with some gal pals and we tried out this new party. For the most part we were all quite happy with our gifts. You never know who will love your junk.

we play this present stealing game each year at our Church Ladies fellowship Christmas party and we all have a great time stealing from each other. Doing it with unwanted presents after Christmas would make for a fun evening as well
