It's like a garage sale all year long!

My most recent tightwad find has got me completely addicted. Almost every Saturday night I try to find a way to head over to my local Salvation Army on Plainfield. This may not seem like the garage sale type place you're thinking. But wait! Saturday nights from 5 until closing (9pm) they have their color tag sale. And no it's not the usual color tag sale. On this very special evening of the week they put all their clothes with the specified color tag on sale for .50cents each! I'm in heaven. I've bought blazers that are more like spring jackets, tank tops, jeans and all kinds of goodies. Now it tends to be a little crazy around this time so be prepared for little space and excited people. Here's my trick. I like to take my time so I go in around 3pm and shop for a couple of hours before the mad rush begins. By the time 5pm rolls around I'm ready to check out and miss the chaos but get the deal. I've been to the store on Division as well and they have the same special. I'm pretty sure it applies to all of them. But don't quote me on it. This is a great way to get gifts for people at garage sale prices. And the beauty is that this sale runs all year round.

oohhh... good to know, thank you!! We are very close to the Division store and I am going to see if they do in fact have the same deal!
