Here's what they say - Dialing 1-800-FREE411 not only skips the $2 charge for directory assistance, you can also get voice-activated MapQuest directions to any place in the U.S. You don’t need web access at all! You can even have the directions sent to your cell phone via text after the call.
Sounds like it'd be nice to try at least!
