Readers Thrifty Finds

I love it when I hear from readers about thrifty finds around Grand Rapids. One of my most recent e-mails shared two thrifty finds around town that I wanted to pass on. I'm going to just copy and paste the e-mail so you can get all the juicy details yourself...

"Something free for gardeners from Starbucks - I did not know about this until the other night when I was in Meijers. Starbucks gives away coffee grounds at the end of the day - limit 2 bags. I'm not a Starbucks frequenter, but I just happened to notice this, and took a bag for my garden. Way better than trying to gather up enough from the one pot of coffee I make a day!

...there is a thrift store on the southwest part of GR in the Wyoming/Grandville area called Nice Twice that is pretty good. It's clean, and very well organized. They currently have women's clothes BOGO. Everything is pretty reasonably priced from what I could see. They even have a bunch of wedding dresses - I didn't really look at them, but I noticed one was priced @ $35, which is pretty darn cheap! They advertise with Sudden Values and always seem to have a coupon for $5 off any purchase of $15 or more. I signed up to be on Nice Twice's email list through Sudden Values, and they emailed me another coupon for $3 off of any purchase! Right now they have tons of organic plant food for $3 a tub, so I'm going to take my coupon in and get a free tub of plant food!
