Remembering the Depression

With our President calling this economic time the worst since the Great Depression maybe it would be wise to revisit that part of history. There can be a lot to learn from people of that day. The Rockford branch of KDL is hosting an event called Remembering the Depression on May 6th at 11am. Here's their description of this event, "The 1930s was a time of devastating unemployment, Roosevelt’s New Deal programs and the Golden Age of Radio. Share your memories or learn from others as we discuss life during the Depression." Registration is required and this is for adults only.
