Due to the fact that I have been unable to change certain things about this blog I am going to be working on reconstructing the look altogether. So please be patient as I am hoping this will be finished soon.

GVSU Holds a FREE Market

A FREE Market is just that - a market where everything is FREE! I had the opportunity to catch one of these last month and it was a lot of fun. This one will be at the Kirkhof Center at the GVSU Allendale Campus. They will be in the Pere Marquette room 2204 from 3:30-5:30pm on April 10th. I'm not sure if you can bring your own stuff to get rid of at this one or not. But it's always worth a try. I would come a little early if you plan on setting up stuff.

FREE Flicks for Chicks (and Babies)

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days is the movie the Wyoming KDL will be showing on April 10th at 11am. This is a great opportunity for mom with infants to still get out and watch a movie with other moms. The best part is it won't cost you anything so if your little one gets fussy and you have to leave you won't be out any money.

Friday Night at the GRAM

This is a wonderfully romantic and cheap date if you're looking for something to do this weekend. The Grand Rapids Art Museum has what they call Friday Nights at the GRAM. It all starts at 5pm where you can get in for just $5! At 5:15 the Robin Connell Trio will begin playing some jazz and will continue until 7pm. There will also be an art forum discussing the exhibit, Spiritual Pilgramages from 7-7:45pm. But the jazz isn't over yet! They pick up again and continue until 8:30pm. And the night finally comes to an end at 9pm when the museum closes. I love going to these events and it happens every week. To find out more just check out this site.

The Valley of Gwangi Showing at the Museum

The Public Museum is finishing up their spring Classic Film Series with The Valley of Gwangi on April 10th at 7pm. The cost is $4 for members and $5 for non-members.

Open Play Scrabble at Schuler's

International Folk Dancing at Wealthy Theatre

This is not a sit down and watch activity! You actually get to learn the dances! They typically go through about 20 dances in a night. You need to bring a partner and I think it costs $5 to get in. Make sure you wear some comfortable dancing shoes as well. You are also welcome to bring some treats of your own for the refreshment table.

WGVU FREE Movie at UICA

Technique Class at Williams Sonoma

The Woodland Mall has the only Williams Sonoma around and every Sunday and Monday night they offer technique classes for FREE! Kidz Fest 09 at the Delta Plex!
