These coupons just keep coming! I used mine earlier this week. Go here and print off your coupon for a FREE travel size signature item at Bath & Body Works when you purchase anything. And they mean anything! They have their semi-annual sale going on and you can get a votive candle for less than .40 cents and that will count! So print it off quick because it ends on July 1st.
FREE Bowling for Kids
AMF Bowling centers are offering a great new summer program for kids. They can get two FREE games of bowling per day. This does not include their shoes, though. But it's still a nice little deal. I believe you have to register on their website for this but I'm not certain. We have two locations that are participating. Eastbrook Lanes and Lincoln Lanes are joining in on the fun. So you might want to keep this in mind for rainy days.
Artisan's Market a Fun Time
If you're an artsy person like myself you get joy out of roaming the local markets looking for those hidden treasures that artisans offer here in Grand Rapids. Well, in case you didn't know, the Fulton St. Farmer's Market also has an artisan's market that takes place on Sundays from 11am-3pm. It's FREE to roam and look and you could come home with some great finds.

This weekend is the Grand Rapids Water Festival again in Riverside Park. It's happening on June 20th. For all the information you could possibly want about this event - just click here.
This is a fantastic event that celebrates the Great Lakes that surround us as well as helps raise awareness about the issues involving our lovely water supply. They have workshops and more to help you learn all you need to in order to leave a better imprint on our state. They have bands, booths and speakers throughout the day of the festival. I'm still not sure if there is a cost but I don't know for sure. Sorry. Maybe you'll have better luck and more time than me.

FREE Trolley Rides in Eastown
I love riding on trolley's. I'm not sure if that makes me a dork or not but it's true. I found out too late last month that we have monthly trolley days around Eastown that are FREE! For the month of June it will be on the 20th from 10am - 3pm. You can catch the trolley near Eastown Antiques on Lake Dr. and then hit all the stops from there. Celebrate A&W's Birthday!
A&W is celebrating another year and they are offering a FREE small rootbeer float on the 19th from 2-8pm. There is no purchase necessary. It's just a gift. Walker Festival This Weekend
The City of Walker is having their 13th annual Festival this weekend. It starts on the 19th at 5pm and goes through the 20th at 11pm. You can go here to check out what all is happening. Admission is $2 to get in and there is a lot going on. They have lots of activities that have what they call a "nominal fee". The great news is that for parents with kids you can get into all their inflatables for FREE! This looks like it could be a lot of fun. It's worth checking out.
FREE Schuler's Concert
Schuler's on 28th st. is welcoming MJ Bishop on the 19th at 7:30pm. If you'd like to hear the sounds of MJ just check out her myspace here. I'm pretty sure this is who will be playing. If I got it wrong then at least you won't lose any money since it's a FREE concert.

Celadon New Town is offering a FREE movie night on the 19th at 9:30pm. They will be showing the movie Once. Here's a map of where they're located. Boogie Woogie Babies in Hudsonville
I found this event on the calendar page of grkids.com. Here's what they said..."The Summer Concert Series, sponsored by The Laurels of Hudsonville, is held each month, June, July and August at Hudsonville Veterans Memorial Park (Corner of 32nd Avenue & Central Blvd.)Bring your own lawn chairs. No admission cost. In case of bad weather, the concert will move next door to the Hudsonville Fire Station. We're pleased to announce the exciting 2009 schedule. June 18 - Boogie Woogie Babies. July 16 - Fun in the Sun Band. August 20 - American Legion Band. All concerts are at 7:00 p.m. Bring the whole family! The concert series is coordinated by the City of Hudsonville and the Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce and partially funded by the DDA."

Movie at the Library
Here's a great opportunity to get indoors for some FREE air conditioning if you don't have any at home. Plus you can catch a FREE movie. The Kentwood KDL is showing a movie at 3pm. You'll have to call the library to find out what movie they'll be showing. You can catch it on the 17th!
Circus at the Library
How much do you love the circus??? I've always been fascinated by circus performers and it looks like I'm in for a treat. The Grandville KDL is having what they call Cirque Amongus on the 18th at 7pm. Go here to see their online flier.
Kids Learn to Fish
grkids.com has highlighted this special event for kids. Here's what their newsletter said..."Members of the Dwight Lydell Chapter for the Izaak Walton League of America will be on hand at Versluis Park to teach kids how to fish. Clay Time for Kids
Barnes 'n Noble on 28th st. is having a get together for kids on the 16th at 11am. They will be offering all kinds of clay to create with. This will be a FREE event and looks like it could be a blast.
Teen Craft Night
Barnes 'n Noble on 28th st. is having a teen craft night on the 16th at 7pm. They will be reworking t-shirts by using the book T-shirt in 99 ways. I've done this event there before and it's loads of fun. Bring your own t-shirt and if you want a really good pair of scissors bring those too. This is FREE to teens.
Teen Project at Library
The East Grand Rapids branch of KDL is having a special event for teens on the 16th at 3pm. I believe the teens will be able to paint bowls that will be auctioned off for a local charity. I've done this before with my family and we had a great time. If you have a teen that is artistic I would highly recommend suggesting this event to them. It doesn't cost anything and is open to the public.

Jazz at the Zoo
The John Ball Park Zoo will soon be serenaded with the sweet sounds of jazz. Every Monday night thru August 16 you can catch live jazz being played outside the zoo. You would think that an event like this would surely cost you at least $5 right? Well keep your cash and go for FREE! The Public Museum is having what they call 71 Days of Fun! They have reduced their admission prices, extended low admission prices to students, added lots of fun activities and are even offering FREE carousel rides every day. Here's the press release I got...
The Public Museum offers visitors a chance for summer fun out of the sun from June 15 – September 4, 2009 during
71 Days of Fun. Hours and admission prices will change, and Museum staff has additional programming planned each day.
During the 12-week period, the Museum will be open 9-5 Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays; and 9-9 Tuesdays. It will be closed Sundays. Adults and Seniors will pay just $5 general admission (a savings of $2-3) and the $3 rate for children 3-17 will be extended to college students with valid ID. Kids under 3 are free. Carousel rides will be free every day and guests can enjoy themed daily activities.
Story Time Mondays will include three presentations of Story Time with the Mighty Wurlitzer as well as Book in a Backpack readings. Treasure Tuesdays will focus on fun with the Museum’s collections and the idea of collecting. Wacky Wednesdays will offer hands-on, “make it and take it” crafts activities. Behind the Scenes Thursdays will include tours of Museum spaces not generally open to the public including the exhibit fabrication labs and the control room behind the planetarium dome. Old Fashioned Fridays will make the Streets of Old Grand Rapids come alive with manned shops, Victorian costumed interpreters and parlor games. Science Saturdays will bring active, physical science experiments and learning into the Galleria. Every Tuesday evening, with the exception of August 11, the Museum will stay open until 9 pm and the planetarium will offer a 7 pm showing of the family-friendly Solar System Safari for $3 and an 8 pm showing of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon laser light show for $7. Guests can experience this classic artist as never before, immersed in sound and accompanied by dazzling visual effects in one of West Michigan ’s most unique entertainment events.

FREE Admission to Air Zoo
The Air Zoo in Kalamazoo is a great place to take a field trip. This is a perfect spot to check out over summer vacation. The best news is that they are offering FREE admission all summer long. You can check out more about this deal here.
