Wilderness Survival Training

The GRPL is hosting an event for teens called Wilderness Survival Training. The website says they will learn to build a fire, survive animal encounters, find safe foods in nature and other essentials for staying alive. Sounds interesting and it's FREE! This event is happening on Sunday the 13th from 3-4pm at the main branch by the Civic Theatre.

Poetry Readings on Tuesday

Schuler's on Alpine has invited Patricia Clark and Robert VanderMolen to join them on Monday the 14th at 7pm for a poetry reading and book signing.

Meanwhile Film Series

The Wealthy Theatre is showing Anchorman for this weeks Meanwhile film. It's showing on Tuesday at 8pm and costs $5 to see.

FREE Kids Meal at Fazoli's

Fazoli's has extended a special deal they had going. On Saturdays and Sundays kids can get a FREE meal with the purchase of an adult meal. This will continue through the whole month of September.
