One of my favorite local stores is Hopscotch Childrens' Store on Cherry St. by Diamond. They have great local handmade products as well as tons of eco-friendly stuff too. But the thing that tops the list for me is their classes. They hold lots of different classes on topics that are great for parents. The next one is happening on April 17th, according to Natural Awakenings. The class will be from 10-11am at their store. This class will be on cloth diapering. It's a great way to save money and help reduce waste. I've taken the class before and loved it. There is no charge for the class but they do prefer that you register for it. You can do so by calling them at 233-4008.
