Ice Cream For A Cause

Who knew that eating ice cream could potentially benefit a local charity? That's my kind of giving right there! Savvy Chic Savings posted about just such an event that is coming up on June 21 so mark your calendars. From 11:30am-3:30pm you can head to Rosa Parks Circle downtown to get your free ice cream scooped by a local celebrity. Denali Flavors & country Fresh are giving away 10,000 scoops of Moose tracks ice cream. For each scoop given away Denali Flavors will donate $1 to The Salvation Army's Kroc Center in GR to support programming for underserved youth.
