Downtown GR is filled with surprises and I've got a hot one for you today! With the summer sizzling it's time to put on your dance shoes and head to Rosa Parks Circle downtown. It's right at the corner of Monroe and Pearl. You might know it as the location for ice skating in the winter and Blues on the Mall every Wednesday this summer. This happening place is the hot spot for your summer dance lessons! Every Tuesday night from 8-10 pm you can find hundreds of people learning to dance swing, salsa and my friends even learned the tango. There's no cost to join this fun fiesta. They do encourage donations so they can cover the cost of renting Rosa Parks Circle. "They" are Grand Rapids Original Swing Society. Otherwise known as GROSS.
