Summer fun - whatever town you're in!

Here's 10 ideas that you can do no matter what town you're in.

1. Get the most out of your library
-Sign up for anything and everything and don’t be afraid to go to more than one library. Rent movies, audio CD’s, music (try new kinds) and even magazines.

2. Go berry picking - strawberries, blueberries and more!

3. Hang out at a bookstore - listen to music, read some magazines, drink some coffee, surf the internet and hang out with friends.

4. Go tubing on a local river - make a whole day of it!

5. Go camping at some unknown campgrounds. See how many cheap places you can stay at.

6. Take a tour of a local industry whether it's a cereal company or a dairy farm - learn something new about where you live.

7. Call your local chamber of commerce and find out about all the festivals in your area and check out as many as possible.

8. Enjoy the nature around you whether it's through a bike ride, nature hike or a walk on the beach. Get out and enjoy the weather and your surroundings. It's FREE!

9. Check out your local colleges - They may have art shows, theater performances or astronomy buildings that are open to the public.

10. Find your local Amtrak or Greyhound and take it as far as you can afford.
