So often when you want to hear some good music it's gonna cost ya. But this weekend music lovers have a special treat that will fit their musical fancy as well as help the budget. Geek Aid is a FREE event THIS SATURDAY at RIVERSIDE PARK on monroe. This is a music festival that serves the purpose of promoting education through music and art. They have a full schedule of bands from 12:30 until almost 9pm. There will be food and drinks available there including a beer tent this year. You can also participate in a silent art auction. This organization awards local students with scholarships for continuing education in a technology related field. So it's a great cause to support and it won't hurt your wallet.
