Hayrides, Cornmazes and more! Oh my!


'Tis the season to sit on bales of hay, pick and carve pumpkins, chug as much apple cider as I can get my hands on and attempt to find my way out of a bunch of corn. There are so many places that offer such festivities that it's hard to know where to get the best deal. So I thought I would share some info to help you decide. Here is a list of places offering fall festivities, complete with addressses, activity lists and prices. Keep in mind that the cheapest one may not be the closest. The drive could cost you the extra dollar you might save on entrance fees. So choose wisely my friends.



1. Post Family Farm Fun Days/Fall Festival
Admission to Farm Fun Days includes a hayride to the pumpkin patch, pumpkin train ride as well as access to a covered straw maze, farm animals, outdoor kiddie corral and nature trail. For an additional $2 get lost in their corn maze. Maze is $1 for kids 2-7. Kids 2 and under get in free to all areas. Homemade cider and donuts are available for .50 each.
Saturdays open 10am-5pm for Fall Festival with kids games and crafts. Horse and pony rides are additions for the weekend along with face painting. Admission goes up to $6 a person for Saturday events.

2. Hayrides at Koetsier's - 9-5pm
Hayrides run every 1/2 hour on Fridays and Saturdays through October. Admission is $3 for everyone ages 2 and up and Koetsier's also has a kids play area, maze and pumpkin painting.

3. Wells Orchards Corn Maze - 8-5pm
The working family farm on Kenowa Ave SW along the Grand River features a corn maze, apples, peaches, painted pumpkins and a farm market.

5. Robinette's Hayrides
Let our Belgian draft horses take you through the orchard on an authentic hay wagon. You will enjoy seeing apples on the trees and the changing fall colors. Many memories are made each year as you enjoy family fun.
Let us introduce you to your Belgian horses. They enjoy being petted and getting their pictures taken with you.

6. Crane Orchards Hayrides and Maze
We have a 15-acre Corn Maze; a lot of work has been put into this so our customers can enjoy more family fun. (each year we have a new maze design)

7. Fruit Ridge Hayrides
Young and old alike enjoy family fun with activities such as horse drawn hayrides, u-pick crispy apples and huge orange pumpkins, a 15 acre corn maze, pony rides, farm animals to pet and children’s activities. Enjoy the beautiful fall colors and the fresh air while enjoying our picnic area. We offer award winning apple cider, delicious homemade donuts and picnic lunch items. In our farm market, you will find picked apples, fancy pumpkins and other fall harvest items such as squash, gourds, decorative corn and corn shocks.
Hayride $6.00 per person, corn maze $6.00 per person or both activities for $10.00 per person. Pig train $3.00 per child, pony rides $3.00 per child, *NEW* Fire engine ride $3.00 per child or $8.00 for all three activities. Campfire is free. Call ahead to order fresh apple cider or donuts for your group (prices to be determined).

8. Hayrides at Moelker Orchards
Hayrides take place every Saturday through October from noon until 5 p.m. Cost is $4.50 for adults, $3 for kids (under 2 are free). Other kids activities include pumpkin decorating and games.

Vince Brown's is a nice family farm to go to. Not glitzy like Klackle's!
